Generator with Cosworth Pulley

I was going through the spares I got with the car and found this with the spare generator

This is probably a larger than normal pulley so the dynamo does not go to too high revs with high rev race engines

That's what I thought as well. The PO probably had it on their race Elan before switching to an alternator.
