123 Electronic Ignition Problems Car will not start!

Hello everyone. I'm actually posting on behalf of a friend. His car broke down at the weekend after a storm and now cannot get a spark. He has the 123 electronic Ignition System. Are there any tests he can do to see what bit isn't working?

You can get the handbook for the precise model he has off the web. Could then try going through the set up procedure to see at what point in dont do what it should. they seem to be a fully integrated unit so other than standard tests it may not be easy to diagnose either the electronics assembly or the coil.

Coil swop might be worth a try
