Hi all,
Can someone please see if they can post a photo of how the throttle/accelerator cable connects to a Stromberg carb TC? I need to see understand how the bracket that holds the outer cable I assume it is a bracket bolted to the cam cover.
Thanks in advance.

Tony,
Have a look at his thread, there's a pic of a cam cover showing the accelerator cable bracket.

It's not just a couple of holes drilled right through the cover. The area under the bracket is machined flat and two blind holes are drilled into an area where an extra depth of alloy has been cast.

Tony,
It's a different cam cover for the Stromberg engine, the bosses for the bracket securing bolts are cast in. As you say I wouldn't want to drill and tap a standard cover, it's not flat and probably way too thin.
Regards,
Stuart you beat me to it !
