Battery Knock-Off

I've fitted an Oddyssey battery to my Sprint and tucked it neatly away.
Such that now, an emergancy "knock-off" is going to take too long !
Before I relocate the battery a little, can I explore an option ? :
AFAIK the feed comes from the battery to the bulkhead solenoid (the "always-on" terminal) and
nothing else receives a supply along the way.
I believe that the thick yellow wire (always-on solenoid large spade terminal) leaving the solenoid then follows the loom and powers the fusebox,
and thus, all else.
Does it make sense then. that in an emergency, I could just pull the yellow spade fron the solenoid ?
Regards,
Stuart.

Stuart,
You're correct in the first assumption.
Regarding the second - I have a thick white/brown permanent live cable going to the fuse box and as I see it, break this connection and the car electrics will be dead.

I have one of those cut off switches they use in boats with the red key (Hella make them) connected to the earth terminal of the battery. It is mounted in the rear bulkhead below the speaker. Easily reached from the drivers seat and cuts all power. Good anti theft device also.

I have a similar battery disconnect but I fitted it in the boot near the LH lid hinge.
It 's a bit of a hassle to disconnect via the boot but IMHO it's a less obvious place to look for than in the cockpit area. So it's a protection against theft but also to to prevent leakage of current(shortages or whatever) in my garage. then it's on a trickle feed charger/discharger by CTEK.
