Ifitted a new gearlever gaitor and since then my rev counter has stopped its waivering motion and now moves fairly smoothly..any ideas?

you've blocked the gap that the tacho-gremlins have been getting in through

Even followed you once in my +2 regency red with black vinyl roof..
but you turned off up to beehive hill!

Not sure where beehive hill is but may have been me,im in nuneaton but often drive out over your area,nice to know theres others about and could be useful to share knowledge and a spare hand or two if needed..ian.
