Rear quarterlight 'cards'

PostPost by: stuartgb100 » Sat Sep 02, 2006 8:21 am

I've often wondered if the rear quarterlight cards (the ones behind your head when you're driving ..... where the courtesy lights are fitted) are fitted correctly on my Sprint. Or, indeed, if perhaps a piece of trim is missing.

Standing behind my Sprint, and looking through the rear windscreen, I've often wondered about a one inch gap between the rear edge of the card and the body/rear windscreen rubber.

It actually looks rather ugly, and it's one of those things that once you notice it ....... well, you can't help but keep noticing it (if you know what I mean).

Is this the normal appearance, or perhaps some trim is missing?

Regards,
Stuart.

Isn't that part of the 'flow-through' ventilation system? I think it lets air from inside pass out through the griiles bhind the doors. It's the same on +2's.

On my S3 Coupe' they were Matthew stated, part of the flow thru. There was nothing to make them asthetic. Just ugly black space.
