Amazing Blue Bosch coil

PostPost by: thor » Mon May 08, 2006 11:34 am

A whole weekend without driving the everyday Golf, with the +2 enjoying city traffic and motorways in the 21-22 degree sunshine here, being smoother than ever, and with an 75% improvement on the movement of the rev counter after throwing away the bust Lucas Sports coil, and fitting the smaller blue Bosch. lovely.

However I'm also driving the +2 to work today which included the morning 1-2 gear crawl... The car behaved admirably.- But this wasn't by choice, as upon arriving in the carpark under our apartment this morning we found the '99 Golf resting on three old wheels laid flat under the car, with the lovely alloys gone.........

I am however still looking forward to driving the +2 home!

hahahahaha. I wish ! Now I just HOPE I can get the trolley jack under the bloody thing when I get back, it's a good thing this is in Norway as I have the other set of wheels for the Golf with studless winter tyres...

Also paying the price now for the cheap insurance with ?500 to pay out of my own pocket of the ?800 new wheels.
