Very light clutch pedal

Had trouble with engaging gear first thing on start up very recently, but improved with some driving in my Plus 2.
Bled the slave cylinder repeatedly but no difference and have just replaced this with a new one, and have very little travel to the clutch fork around 12-15mm and very light pressure at the pedal. Exactly the same before the replacement. The connecting pipe is a braided one with no bulges etc so this is intact.
I now suspect the master cylinder but before replacing it, does anyone have any ideas? The clutch its self performed normally before this issue with no slipping etc so would assume that the plate is still good as only done around 5k since replacing the whole assembly.

Wedge the clutch pedal down with a 2*4 and leave it a day or two. Should get system fully bleed. Then see if problem persists.
