Diff oil

My understanding is that it should be GL5. I received this advice from a friend who worked in the oil industry and used to design oils.

Thanks all for the input
Having the chance to get the car on a ramp today I changed the gearbox oil but the differential was another matter
On inspection I could not see a drain plug Very strange so I could not change it
In the end I just topped it up with ep 90
Is this something which lotus did on certain diffs.My sprint is a 73 car so bit baffled

Just make sure you can get to the fill plug on the back before removing the drain plug !
