Anti sizzle gear lever how to secure?

In the service manual Loctite AV is specified to secure the anti sizzle lever to the stub that projects from the gearbox.
I didn't expect to find this product, but a Google search found it! I expected Loctite AV to have been superceded in the last 50 or so years. Having read the tech spec I suspect that current Loctite AV is not what Lotus specified.
Does anyone know what I should be using?

I used locktight blue
I still have the old solid stick in the glove box in case I need it, but so far the locktight is holding
I will say the solid stick had a more positive feel
