My Elan Coupe S3 coupe is undergoing a complete rebuild. I need to get the gearbox checked over in case there are any issues with it, before I refit engine and gearbox any recomendations. Could anyone confirm that 21 teeth on the First Motion Shaft indicates c/r box, and 19 teeth on a semi c/r box. Lastly my centre plate plate measures 8" diameter but my pressure plate 8.6" is this correct?

Yes all correct although you can fit the 8.5" centre plate if desired.

Speak to "Al .....Promotor" on this site .....he'll sort your g/box out for you.
