Speedo Right Angle Drive

Does anyone know what cars the speedo right-angle drive was fitted to?

Quite a lot of the Old Ford range of cars. Cortina / Corsair, etc etc... Mid 60's cars.. Among others.

Hmm not familiar with corsairs, but can't say I've ever seen one on any of the many cortina variants I've owned.....not down under anyway....

I well remember wrestling with one on my Ford Cortina 1600E... Then I found out it was the cable that was goosed..

They were fitted to a few different Fords of that era if my memory serves. Is your one a gonner?

I would have thought any car equipped with the 2000E gearbox. The gearbox derived it's name from the 2000E variant of the Corsair mated to the V4.

My gearbox is missing the speedo drive so if any one has one that's surplus I would be interested.
