Quaife designed this gearbox to be installed where their various versions of the T-9 had been used previously. Therefore they put the gear lever in the same spot as with the standard T-9 box, so it won't directly fit an Elan. Of course if you want to add paddle switches to your Chapman-signature steering wheel...

Maybe this should be in the mods section...
I don't know if it couples nicely with a Lotus Twin Cam but it should fit on my car easily (alfa twincam).
However, as mentionned above by CBUEB1771, flappy paddles push a bit the boundaries of a classic car... but if need is, why not?

If it doesn't mate to the Elan bellhousing, Quaife will happily either modify your housing or make an adapter plate, so this won't be a problem..
