Crankshaft pulley size

Hello,
Am I seeing things or what. I am just ready to put the engine back in my Series 3 and I saw that the pulley covers the timing marks. I didn`t notice this when I was setting the timing but that is done from a different angle. The pulley outside diameter is 4.75". When I look in various books the timing marks are clearly visible from the front.
Has this engine got the wrong pulley on. Please will someone tell me the correct diameter for this pulley.

I don't recognise what you have there but it's certainly not a standard twincam pulley

The standard pulley is smaller and doesn't have the holes around it

Now you have confirmed that it is wrong I can correct it.
Every time I put one thing right on this car, I find two others which need sorting out. It must be getting better, musn`t it?

Just measured my spare and it's 4 inches Dia.

Thanks for that. It confirms what John said and gives me detail as well. I will now go ahead with confidence.

Eric - from what little I can see of it your waterpump pulley looks enormous. Worth checking that whilst you are at it.

Thewater pump pulley is 4.25" outside diameter and while we are here the alternator pulley is 2 9/16 "or 65mm if that reads better on the page.
Can you say if they are right? I don`t trust anything anymore.

I have just measured my spare water pump pulley and it is 4 and a quarter so something looks right!!

Update,
Correct pulley bought on ebay and fitted. I changed the front oil seal while I was there.
Thanks for your help. I just need a shorter fan belt now!
Engine going back in.
