1972 Elan +2 S130 4 speed

Hi all,
I'm considering selling my +2 , I just don't really use it much & it should be used & enjoyed by someone enthuiastic.I don't want it to go to a dealer,so I thought I would try the forum first.
1972 +2 S130 4 speed, 97k miles,burgundy with metalflake roof,lotus galvanised replacement chassis,engine completely rebuilt 200miles only,clutch replaced,all suspension bushes & lotacones,only variations from standard are CV driveshafts, unleaded head& cassette type water pump. Body is very good ,paintwork is a little tired in places but polishes up reasonable well.I'm looking for offers on 9k.

Sorry to hear you are parting with your +2. Sounds good though!

Put it in the 'For sale' section and include a few pictures. (watch the file size) I'm sure you will get some interest in it. I wish I were in the market as it sounds right up my street. I do like the S130 + 2's & I have very fond memories of my one. Great car.

Hi John. Sorry to hear that you're parting with your +2. I still haven't managed to pop up and take a look. I nearly bought a second one some years back as a freind was selling his, and figured having one on the road would help with the resto. Wish I had now. Still, good luck with it.
