Matching a Lotus 4 speed bell housing to T9 gearbox

With that Burton one I think you would have to convert to cable operated clutch......I believe this is the one you want to retain the hydralic clutch http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ZF-ROCKET-ALLOY-B ... 3a4ee8a93d

I used A Left Hand Drive tye 9 bell housing with the clutch cable abutment ground off (puts starter in right place) and then machined a apacer up to mount a Concentric slave cylinder.

Thanks for all the responses, very helpful as usual. I am surmising that to use a 2000e bell housing would require a spacer plate to accomodate the different housing attachments. Has anyone succeeded with this approach?

additional requirements eh...

My type 9 conversion has a concentric hydraulic clutch slave cylinder, with the hydraulic pipe going in through a drilling in the bell housing. Here are some pics:

Many thanks to all for the comments, the T9 is now in bits on the bench (having mopped up all the oil that hid itself until I split the casings) ready for its inspection.
