4 speed gearbox - the large nylon cup/nut

My big nylon nut has worn threads - could this be what keeps causing the selectors to jam?
In any event I would like to replace the nut before I drop the body back on, and in doing so hopefully cure the selector problem.
I have seen machined alloy version for sale somewhere but can't recall where. Can anyone direct me to a source of either nylon or similar replacement nuts....and any suggestions on the cause of intermittently jamming selectors would be gratefully received
Cheers
Jon

Jon,
First, rob a bank. Then, try this:
http://www.rdent.com/
Click on Elan Parts. Scroll down about 3/4 page. It's part number 26F6015-A
Best of luck.
