Input shaft bearing .Grease?

Hi. I have just started the engine rebuild ,its all gone well.I started to fit the Flywheel and I thought check first .
I would be grateful if someone could give me advice .The crank has a needle roller bearing fitted to take the input shaft .It looks like clean grease has been used .
Qu ---- What type of grease do I use and how much do I apply.

I just use a smear of black Moly Grease (CV joint stuff) not too much although the pilot bearing does have a seal on it.

Hi, John,
I'm with Brian! Black moly with a high melt point! (HMP) fits the bill well. Stays put well too.
