Frame Differences

Can a 71 Sprint frame be used with an S1 body? What are the differences?

The only significant difference are that the front suspension pivots are slightly different in location to give a slightly different camber on the later chassis. Lotus probably made the change when they went to Radial tyres so this should not be an issueas everybody uses radials these days!!!

There are other minor differences such as location of the brake hose brackets that accomodate the different style brakes used over the years and design of the diff torque rod chassis mount but these should be able to be worked around Ok.
