Hi folks,
Quick question. How do it remove the gear stick from a 5 speed. Can it be done with the gearbox in situ?

If it is the Lotus 5 speed then the lever can be removed by unscrewing the plastic collar, the one with the metal petals. You may have to bend the petals to allow it to turn.
MOST IMPORTANT
Put the box in gear before removing the stick otherwise part of the selector can fall off inside if left in neutral, I think the manual recommends putting it in 4 th gear.
