4 speed gearbox tailshaft seal part #

PostPost by: joe7 » Mon Feb 13, 2023 3:49 pm

I'm in need of an SKF or Timken part number for a 4 speed tailshaft seal. I loaned out my last new one to a friend that through the box away hence I don't have the number! Thanks Joe

I believe it is Payen NA167 - the cross-reference section should lead you to your preferred manufacturer's equivalent..

Thanks for your reply. I searched forever, couldn't find one. I was hoping someone had a seal on the shelf and could post the part number.

I'll check my spare box tomorrow to see if I have one and can get you a number Joe.

I assume this issue has been resolved by now but I found an old Ford number I wrote down at the time.
71WG7657BA

The Robinshaw and Ross book has another one,
69AG7A292AA

Though my experience of Ford dealers these days is just blank looks when you quote these pre-historic numbers.
Good luck,
Ralph.
