Drive shaft lengths

With so many variations of shafts available, some with donuts others with a variety of other joints, are the basic shafts the same between an Elan an a +2

The plus 2 ones are longer -a total guess but I’d say around 4 inches longer.

No, the +2 shafts are longer.

The 5 speed are different for both again, thou duh & of course
12” approx
Back of engine block to diff flange is 68” minus 5 speed box & bell @ 26”
Born, and brought home from the hospital (no seat belt (wtf)) in a baby!
Find out where the limits are, and start from there

Err, the O.P was talking about the drive shafts I believe (diff to rear hubs), not the propshaft.

This is a us v UK thing, prop shaft is commonly called drive shaft in the US.
'73 +2 130/5 RHD, now on the road and very slowly rolling though a "restoration"
