Pedal box - limit screw for clutch master cylinder pedal

PostPost by: dick+2130/5 » Thu Nov 08, 2018 5:03 pm

Dear All,
I have the pedal box out to change the seals in the clutch and brake master cylinders. When refitting the clutch pedal clevis pin to the push rod I noticed this adjusting screw for the first time. I have wound it out about 10 mm from its original position - hard to move, and looked like it might have been Loctited originally.
Can anyone hep me with setting advice please ?

--- or is it redundant ? no mention in the +2 workhsop manual.

Thanks and Best Wishes,

Dick

Yes, it limits the clutch pedal "fully pressed" position, so that the master / slave cylinder doesn't get over actuated. Definitely not redundant.
