Slave cylinder travel forced to 20mm via rod+7/8nut HELP!!

PostPost by: el-saturn » Sun Apr 01, 2018 9:50 am

good morning easter rabbit and lotuselan net!! just got the engine back in with the new HD clutch fork (Burton) - we couldnt leak the system as my man didn't have the proper top for a girling. i went to clean up and figured i could find out if everything is functional, so i forced the rod to release the clutch. i quit after forcing the fork to move about 20mm. shouldn't that be enough to release OR when i use the starter (wheels in the air) in gear (with the forced travel) the wheels still move!!!! ............... they shouldn't move, right? or should i have gone 5mm more??? sandy: maybe too stupid to comprehend!!??
