What Diff Oil for +2?

Hi, I've tried to search for the answer to this but don't seem to have found an answer other than the recommended Redline. I need to get the diff back in this weekend so thats a no go as I can't get it locally. I've got 75w90 Semi Synthetic MT5 Halfords gear oil. Will this do the trick? I know theres talk of MT5 not being any good for brass but is this relevant to the diff?
Thanks

There's not a lot special about the ford diff and little brass in it (plugs ?)
Gear oil is good....at least for now until someone has something " special"

I know that the diff on the +0 Elan can be a bit of a bugger to fill when it is in the car (no idea about the +2) but I guess it's the same
Now that you have got it back together and have a bit of time... I looked at what the racing Elan boys did and cut out a hole in the boot which not only gave access to the diff plug it also allowed access to the hand-brake tree.
There are photos of this somewhere on the site but I'm jiggered if I can find them using the "search" function.
It turns a two hour job into 20 minutes and does not involve raising the car.

I fitted an inspection hatch in the boot to top up the diff oil. Be careful where you cut. It is low down near the eath screw but measure carefully.
I used a boat 4" inspection hatch from marinesceneuk. About ?5.50 on ebay. I can now remove the plug and see the oil level with a torch.
