Dear all
I have searched extensively and even googled ! Can someone please definitively answer this question for me ?
On the standard lotus five speed gearbox. What is the distance from the front of the bell housing (where it mates to the engine) to the centre of the gearlever ?
Simple isn't it...

475mm approx..

Just measured mine which is out of the car currently it is 470mm. Note this does not include the spacer plate between block and bell housing and is from front of the alloy bell housing to centreline of the change lever base ball joint
