Hi does anyone know where I could purchase a hub puller (knock on hubs) I've tried Matty he said try here. I dont want to hash somthing together i just want to buy the correct puller and done with! Thanks

I used this tool from Ray at RD Enterprises. It is available at rdent.com under the Tool Chest section. Not sure who has something similar in the UK.

I've never heard of anyone selling them in the UK so unless you want to pay postage from America I think you may need to get one made by a local machine shop (since you don't want to make one yourself). It's fairly basic. I once measured the hub threads as 2.048? inside, 2.17 (2.168)? outside. and 10 TPI and if you check yours are the same (they may wear slightly), or let them measure for themselves, and also give them a spinner to work off and the photo in this thread they should be able to do it easily, though I've no idea what they'll charge.

PS don't forget to remind the machine shop that one side should be right hand thread and the other left hand.

SJ Sportscars do a similar tool, using an allen screw rather than a bolt for tightening onto the shaft end

I made the one detailed in the Robinsure and Ross book. You simply place it in the centre of the hub and fit a3 eared spinner and tighten it up with a suitable hammer. Worked a treat on my car. I also used some old, dog eared spinners so I didn't have to worry about damaging them.

I think Andy posted a drawing of the Plus 2 version here:

Was not sure of differences to the Elan version that is mentioned. This picture from Robinshaw & Ross Shows that the Plus hub has a slightly different offset. Did not know this.
