Double Drilled Diff Pinion Flange

Now that I've managed to separate the carrier from the nose on my spare diff I'm going to send it off for a refurb.
While this is being done I thought I would have a double drilled pinion flange fitted.
I know TTR sells these flanges - but I was wondering if the Burton flange is also OK.
The description on their website suggests that it is (Cortina Mk1 etc.) - but when I emailed them their reply was rather non-committal:
"Thank you for your enquiry, this is not listed for the Lotus Elan, we cannot confirm it will fit.
The PCD is 78mm and 71mm"
The PCDs of the flanges quoted in Brian's book convert to approximately 70mm and 78mm so almost definitely the same as the Burton offering
Has any one got a Burton flange fitted to their Elan?

It fits just fine. I've purchased two from Burtons without issue. I am sure they all must come from the same primary source. It would be crazy for more than one company to actually manufacture these.

Good morning Steve,
I have one of these left over from my diff building days. If you want it, let me know.
You will find that the Burton offering will go rusty in double quick time, as it has no plating, whereas the one that I have, is anodised, and a work of art. Shame to use it really.
