rear uprights

............... i figure most of us are up to something which needs attention. i'm switching to a T.T.
suspension - the rear got finished today - left and right show a difference in bearing friction or alignment
right takes a bit more "turning-power"??? there's a bunch of elements which i reckon just need to get
run in - everything is/was a perfect fit - here's some pictures 4 U sandy

I guess a slight misalignment in the machining of the bearing mounts would cause an increase in rotational stiffness on assembly. On running the bearings may wear to accomodate the misalignment. If its to great you may get a much shorter bearing life as a result.

thanks rohan - that?s like a worst case scenario, but i hope the differences come from the
ally housing and it?s bearing machining. the bearings almost fell into the soft housing (so
i used some 601 loctite), both sides both uprights and as you probably noticed the stub axles
are of the finest making. i?ll go for a ride asap and will touch the bearing areas in question:
if its hot its removal and !**!!??`?!***????.. sandy j
