more amazing, I have just been looking at the list of members (2764 of us) and noticed that a massive 824 (or close to a third) have never made a post at all (even to introduce themselves).
made me wonder.. what I am not sure but astounded that so many with no posts.

NB - good to see that an Aussie (Rohan is at the #1 spot)

And btw its position , and knowhow make him the most valuable when the rest of the world is asleeping , leaving you with a mess at night in the garage!

Peter,
you may be right but (despite what we might like to think about ourselves) I don't think there are many young men on this forum!

Ah I just wish it was so easy.
A 60 hour a week job that has me flying all round the country plus a family and a house or 2 to look after. Plus more projects for the Elan, Plus 2 and Esprit than I care to list and a few other cars of the wife and kids cars to service / advise on - i.e. service the wifes car advise on the kids cars. Plus be the consultant tech for all the computers in the family and keep the home network running plus be the accountant for my wifes wine export business to Germany plus plus ..........
But somehow I find time around now in the evening to sit down and indulge in the sheer pleasure of thinking about Elans and all their joys and challenges by logging on to Lotus Elan.net while i enjoy a red wine or a nice brandy.
One day my superannuation ( pension) fund will recover and I will be able to afford to retire full time to engine building and all the ideas I would like to chase down for those few more elusive reliable horsepower
cheers
Rohan
