Ha, looks good.
Is that a hand grenade??
I was told to cut off the shaft and drill through the middle of the spoked part and put a bolt in it and attach a slide hammer. Much the same as you have there. But yours is more interesting, where can I get a hand grenade?

I think the lump is a 'Mills Bomb' type hand grenade. Particularly suitable as it has a nice hole right through the centre where the fuse goes. In service from 1915 to 1970, so there are probably a few left....
Particularly apt for motorsport, where the term 'Grenading' is in common use.

I guess a claymore(anti-personnel type, not the sword) is not a suitble alternative!

I can remember when you could buy empty hand grenades at junk sales for a few pounds, every one seems to have forgotten this. they closed our local dump because someone found one. Must be a terror attack.
Remember to leave your tool in the back of your car for next time a 18 year old police men pulls you over
Probably enough to get a half of london shut down.

Most definitely judging by this morning's news from London.
Could prove rather difficult to explain away ............ particularly if you also carry a a few spare nuts and bolts, plus a can of spare petrol in the boot at the same time.
Regards,
Stuart.
