Original Color For Elan S2

A couple weeks ago I stumbled upon a site where one could find the color for a given chassis number. I seem to recall that you sent someone the chassis number and they could look up the original color. I have not seen any color codes on my chassis.

The car is a 1965 S-2 elan.

The chassis number won't have a color code but I think there's a historian at Lotus who, when given a chassis number, can tell you how the car left the factory. I'll try to find his name.

Contact MPomfret @ lotuscars.co.uk he is acting as archivest. Provide him the number of your Elan and he will normaly respond in a few days with as much as he has available.info
