I was lucky, the threaded nut came out with no fuss whatsoever, now I have door hinge on bench I need to establish what needs replacing.
I dont know if I have brass from factory or replaced at some point. The top bush has obvious play as you can feel the movement, same with lower although less.
i have new replacement nylon bushes, these however move even more.
do i get new brass bushings made or order replacement from Sue or SJS
Advise appreciated

The factory bushes are Nylon, I suspect they may be the same as the front suspension bushes although I've never checked. Interesting that your brass bushes have worn out, were they not lubricated enough? Most of the hinge pins I've seen have a poor surface finish and that probably doesn't help the life of the bushes.
They are bushes readily available in the UK as they do wear out.
