Elan S2 - door seal extension plate

Can anyone advise if this metal plate that extends the door seal lip to the top of the door height is original?

Yes Barney, it's original! it stiffens up the weak top corner of the flange.

Does anyone have a photo of this and dimensions/outlines drawn with a scale - or some surplus hanging out in the garage?
They are missing on my car...
