Rear interior trim panel to side panel picture

PostPost by: snowyelan » Sat Jun 11, 2022 1:06 pm

Hi All,
Can anyone supply a picture of the side to rear panel, specifically where the lower seatbelt passes thru? From dry fitting it appears the seatbelt bracket is buried behind the rear panel? This is for a S4 DHC.

Thanks,
Scott

After searcing for a few hours I found the pic below from a rollbar equipped S3 with inertia belts in Tom Jones rebuild thread.
Can anyone confirm that a S4 with fixed belts is the same? I question it because the belt length adjustment is at the lower outboard bracket and it seems odd that the adjustment would be buried behind the panel.

I have a Sprint with Inertial belts, but I can confirm that the outer rear anchor is behind the rear panel & the belt simply passes between the rear panel & the side panel as shown on your picture.

Thanks Phil. I'll proceed with putting the panel in. I guess seatbelt adjustment lands in the same difficulty category as fuel pump removal.
