Behind Wing Access

PostPost by: 111Robin » Wed Nov 24, 2021 4:49 pm

I don't know if my wiper motor bracket has been mucked about with or not but I'm trying to remove it and the nuts beneath the inner wing are turning so I can't remove them. I can't see how to gain access to this area, there doesn't appear to be a "wing liner" as such and I can't see any access from the footwell. I'm probably missing something obvious. When I reinstall everything I'll be using rivnuts (as used on the Elise), a far better solution than hidden nuts you can't access.

I guess you’re talking about a +2. In which case, if I remember correctly, access is gained from the footwell. There is a void at the edge of the bulkhead moulding. They’re probably hidden behind the felt.
