Glove box pull

My S4 does not have a handle to open the glove box.
I am contemplating using a thin piece of leather as a pull, and cupboard catch. As it seems original, that it did not have a handle. Probably wont be used often anyway.

The original fitment is a push - push latch as used on cupboard doors, loft hatches etc .... no handle required.
Widely available from hardware stores and ebay for just a couple of £'s
