S130 Oatmeal vinyl

Hi,
Finally getting to the last part of my seat rebuild, the fixing the rear panels. The hard board is shot.
When stripping them down they were covered twice, with two different vinyls. I thought the interior was original but now wondering if it has been recovered.
Could owners of S130 with oatmeal interior let me know which of the vinyls in the photo matches there seats?
Thanks,
Mark

Hi Mark,
I would say the top half of your pic looks like the original oatmeal vinyl in my car.
Regards
Iain

Agree with the others, definitely the top one. A few years ago I bought a small quantity from Sue Miller which was a good match as far as texture, but the colour was a little brighter. Probably the effect of 40 years of sunlight, cigarette smoke and oil fumes on the originals!!

Thanks everyone. The car is fully trimmed in the lower (incorrect) vinyl, so appear it appears it has had a full re-trim at some point. Most likely done as part of a restoration in early 90's, It is generally in good condition (unlike the respray at same time) so I have no plans to change it.
For last 5 years of ownership I had assumed that it was original, having never seen another UK S130 spec car. So finding a different vinyl was a bit confusing.
What is really strange is the cloth seat inserts have had new cloth fitted, with what looked like the original cloth in place. Which is strange if they are replacement covers.

Hello gents and nerds,
Allow me please to chime in.
I remember that the oatmeal became very popular during the late -70ies rebuilds.
I also remember that new interiors did not last well and looked very tired and dirty after a surprisingly short time.
I have the remains of some oatmeal trim from an Europa ( 1971 ? newish ) and the surface texture is far more even than later specifications and so less hungry for embedding of dirt .
The pics. re S 130 oatmeal vinyl.. seems to bear this out.
