Door Seal

Gentlemen,
Recently bloodknock raised the issue of correct door seal, that is with a flap rather than a bulb. I have contacted a company who make seals, East Anglian Seals, but no reply yet as to cost.
In conversation with another Lotus owner he said Kelvedon have stock. I have spoken with Kelvedon today and they claim to have the correct item. I have no need of seals at the moment, perhaps someone who needs a seal could buy a small quantity to confirm whether Kelvedon has the correct item.

Yes, the bulb type is incorrect. It’s too large and you can’t close the door.
Dave Bean in California stocks the correct weather strip.

The last restoration I did was in 2017 and at that time Woolleys of Market Deeping had the correct seal,an exact match dimensionally to what remained on the '68 S4 I was working on. Perhaps they have some left?

On my Sprint fhc i used a seal from "www.sealsplusdirect.co.uk" ref: ET560 page 5 in cataloge .
Above the hinge area i added a little piece of seal to stop wind noise.
The Doors now close easily
Alan
ps. You could also use a seal from Woolies ref: 265A looks almost same
