Elan outer seat belt fixings

PostPost by: Matt Elan » Sat Nov 30, 2019 4:44 pm

I was wondering how the outside lower seat belt fixings in the body shell were secured in the Elan. I know on the Plus 2 that they bolt through the door sill reinforcement girder, but what are they on the Elan? Is there a dedicated plate/mount bonded into the shell, or is there a threaded mount integrated into the latticework door aperture reinforcement? Anyone know?

Matt

There is a threaded mount integrated into the latticework door aperture reinforcement. If you look at the attached photo you can just about make it out in the bottom corner.
