Adventures in Seat options - Elan Plus 2

After making some changes in the seats in my wife's NB Miata, I got to thinking about options for the Plus 2 to counter the middle/old age spread issue! The seats just don't fit as well as they did when I was 25!

Some lessons learned
- Lotus Elise seats work as do Corbeau's LE copies, using the conversion frames from Flipside Customs.
- Miata NA and NB work,
- Cobra Le Mans (which I have for an Escort Mk2 Project) fit but seat you way too high to be feasible.

Compared with trying to fit seats into a Miata or an MG, there is actually quite a bit of room, but headroom continues to be a challenge in anything that isnt an almost shell.
My preference would be the Elise/Corbeau LE.

Suzuki cappucino seat

These fit and are comfy. Apparently facelifted Recaro jag xj seats fit too...(the narrow recaro seats.not the fat wideboy seats)

I had a Cappuccino for years and I always thought the seats were brilliant.

The only seat that was better was to be found in the Subaru Impreza Turbo RB5 I later owned.

It?s a shame the Cappo seats are only available in black, me having an Oatmeal interior in my Plus 2.. lets see some Oatmeal matches too!
