Bonnet release cable clip location

Hi everyone,
The attached photo shows the release cable clip in the centre of the bulkhead ( marked with a bit of blue tape).
I attached it under the screw that holds the loom and the vacuum pipe to the bulkhead.
I does not look very good like that !
Can any member advise or post a photo of the original mounting position please ?

It went on one of the rear cam cover nuts originally.

As above although I believe the very late cars had two supports,one at each side.This pic is a JPS plus two and supposed to be original.

All these years/decades...never knew there was a clamp !

Problem solved!
Many thanks to Steve for the words, Brian for the photo, and grassy Knoll for the honesty.
I will make up a second clip and fit as shown.
