Yes.
They did some tvr bumpers for me. Good quality
No receipts. No paper work, cash only
Which made me uncomfortable as the bumpers were unique to a small number of early cars....
Took 4 to 6 weeks turnaround I think

If you do have a situation that makes you feel uncomfortable when dealing outside of normal business hours you may choose to do as I do and that is take a photo with your phone. If they buck you probably don't want to be dealing with them anyway. Of course you can always just take sneaky shot. Always better to be sure than sorry.

Hi,
As I can't see a way to pm someone on this page, and your forum admin has proved unhelpful, could I ask that you edit your posts please?
While I appreciate the recommendation for my plating services, we absolutely do not carry out work for ''cash''.
To do so would be unlawful, and to have this information easily accessible on Google is not good for my company.
Many Thanks for your understanding.

The forum admin informed you we do not edit topics when requested by unknowns or new members.
The member posted an accurate description of the transaction for other members. Only the original member can decide to edit the post.

That's not actually what you said, but whatever.
I would have thought it would have been a no brainer to not post this sort of information on a publicly viewable forum??
I've asked nicely for the post to be edited or removed. I'll leave it at that.

The Forum has a wider responsibility than to simply assume and accept the bona fides and accuracy of its posters.
If either assumption were to be incorrect and the result defamatory then liability could readily result.
"Moderators" are so called for good reason.
In fact dealing in cash and without sales documentation only becomes unlawful if income tax and/or Vat are avoided so someone is being unduly sensitive.
Gordon.
