Replacement Chassis and Rollbar

I'm considering selling my chassis from my S2 and replacing it with a Tony Thompson 26R one. Mine was replaced very early in the cars life so it's not the original anyway.
Does anyone have any advice or experience with the Tony Thompson ones?
Also, I'm thinking of fitting a rollbar with side intrusion protection bars. Does the safety devices one fit under a hood?
Finally, and sorry for the flood of questions, does anyone have a view on what a good condition secondhand chassis is worth?

Hi Simon,

I'm working with my second TTR, 26R chassis. It seems to be very well made and the geometry looks pretty good.

I also have TTR's, Safety Devices roll bar and I believe it will fit under both the soft top and factory hard top.

I can't help you on the second had chassis pricing.

Thanks Bill, that's useful information, it's appreciated. It's always worrying investing in such a critical part of the car without some personal experience.
