Engine compartment holes

Car is a 72 +2s Federal
I am getting ready to finish the body work and do final paint. I want to glass over unneeded holes in the engine compartment on the firewall and fenders. I have gone back through my pics from the initial tear down but as usual 500 pics was not enough.
I am going to install a Vintage Air AC and a different brake system so the holes for the old systems will be eliminated.
Has anyone made a good diagram of all of these holes and their purpose? I have gone trough the archives and pulled some pics but still have a lot of questions. Any help greatly appreciated.

This is why I am asking.
Firewall - 55 holes - 12 look to be bolts or rivets
Right fender - 24 holes - 16 look to be bolts or rivets
Left fender - 33 holes - 20 look to be bolts or rivets
nose pan - 8 holes - 5 look to be bolts or rivets.
A friend was over looking at the car the other day and he commented that the engine compartment looked like swiss cheese. I cannot believe that this many holes are needed.
To add to the list of items above
data plate
brake booster
lights
hood hinges
hood prop rod
horns
OAT - firewall
OAT mounts
Washer bottle
AC lines
Looks like I will have to get out everything and solve this puzzle

I think the vacuum lines on my car went with the wiring
washer is in the nose
yup, choke and throttle, but the heater is all in the passenger compartment
yup speedo, but gauges are all electric
much of the rest are not in the firewall but in the wheel wells or otherwise

I must say that I can relate to Dennis' situation. I am doing bodywork on a 1970 Plus 2S and there are a lot of holes.
And no disrespect, but when you've already logged hundreds of hours trying to make the body shell right . . . no, a blanking plate or grommet is not a preferred solution.
Having said that . . . for me, I know without reminding myself from my pix (and I have about 2500 taken during the teardown of the shell, and haven't yet started taking pix of the chassis teardown) that my engine bay is very stock so all the holes have a purpose. I just can't remember, 10 months later, what goes in each hole. But I know I took something out of each one and will put things back as they were.
Some holes I have partially filled, so as to get a more accurate fit (especially the heater hoses into and out of the cabin, as mine were modified/enlarged and they have to have a good seal for waterproofing the cabin), and some fastener holes have been strengthened to make a better attachment (while some other fastener holes will eventually be enlarged to accommodate "wellnut" type fasteners).
Good luck, Dennis; sorry I can't be of more assistance . . .
