S1 Glove Box latch???

Wondering if anyone can tell me where the S1 fiberglass glove box door latch came from? Or for that matter how it worked and looked [picture?]. Long distance photo's I have seen don't show any box handle to grab hold of so I am supposing that one turned the key in the latch and used that to open the door. Wondering where to be looking for one or whether it's possible to find one.
Thank's in advance..

My S1 has a glove box door.
(The door is original - the dash isn't - hence colour difference)
The lock is basically the same as that on the boot - but without the cover and a different 'cam'.

Thanks folks.
I had looked at the MGB latch's and I suppose I could make do with them but it would be nice to find what was originally used. As with most parts for English auto's I'm sure the original's had other uses. Not one off's like was commonly done here in the states.

Kurt ,
Here is a better picture of the bezel - early s1 , Bourne body car , original interior.
I have seen what is described as door locks being a close match in function , I would look around in catalogs like moss etc.
- RD has s4 door locks that look like they could be made to work, but bezel is different. and lever would have to be adapted.

Here is a lock I took of an old filing cabinet, not to dissimilar although it has ?UNION? and a number on it.

Thanks much for the close up picture's!!
The poor pictures that I was using for reference made the lock look different than the MGB lock. Close up it appears that the source for these was the same as MGB. Finally, a replacement part for a low cost!!
It seems to me that Lotus Elan Net ought to have a special section for listing sources that member's have found. Example is this and Alfalofa's recent post about bonnet lock cables. I agonized over finding those as well.

Agreed, it took me a while to find the Hella part number of the plate late on later Elans as well.
