my new lenham hardtop

PostPost by: TheKid#99 » Wed Oct 11, 2023 5:02 pm

Great write up and information. I'm in the middle of restoring my Lotus Elan S4 and my mechanic sent my transmission over to a shop. The shop manager knew someone with an S4 hardtop and he gave it to me for FREE, talk about luck.

It is in very good condition, I just need the fittings and seals. Looking forward to getting it painted and installed on the car once the car is fully restored.

Talk about luck, indeed! Let us know from where you get the fittings and seals.

Kelvedon Lotus seems to have all the seals and fittings I need, I believe. I'll order them when I'm ready. I'll keep you all posted.

Great looking.

What does the hardtop weigh?

That I don't know but its light, even with the plexiglass in the rear. Probably no more than 25-30lbs.
