Hi Bryn

I think the ones of the Older Austin and Morris Mini Bonnet can be adapted. I have just fitted a couple to my bonnet and they seem 2 work OK. They look very similar to the one on my boot.

Got them from www.minispares.com

Best of Luck

Hi all. Maybe the catch assemby will work with the plunger that's on the +2 boot lid? It's listed on the mini spares website: http://www.minispares.com/Product.aspx? ... 818&title=

I reversed the lever on my old mini, and attached a cable to it so I had a cable operated bonnet latch, so that it would be more difficult to get at my 1400 engine.

I started a thread on this a few weeks back, as I'm convinced my boot latch will stick with the boot shut - a big pain to recover from involving drilling through behind the number plate.

Sean.
