TT Rolloverbar and sill bars

Hi everyone
I have recently fitted a Spyder rolloverbar and sill bars to my S3 FHC. It was all fairly straightforward and I now feel slightly safer. I don't do racing etc but I felt it was worth the money just for improved piece of mind, although I know its only one safety improvement of potentially many.
I also have an S4 DHC to which I also want to fit a rollover bar. The only slight criticism I have of the Spyder product is that the nuts and bolts spoil the look through the rear window, which isn't a real issue for a FHC but would spoil the look of a DHC.
So, I am attracted to the TT product (no nuts and bolts showing) but I am not sure whether the bar is so high that it shows up under the raised soft top. I saw a picture of an Elan recently with a rollover bar that ruined the look of the car with the soft top up.
Has anyone recently fitted TTs product to a DHC and might be able to help me with this issue?

No, but I have the Spyder rollover bar on my S2 S/E. The look is just fine.
Of course, I don't even own a hood for it.

Bit of a coincidence... I was looking for an old thread showing the holes I had to cut to get the side bars in, and Collins_Dan made a comment on it!

Relatively straightforward to fit, bit of muscle, and everything loosish until the desired position is found.

I binned mine & the Rollover bar is really only there to provide a high mounting position for a 3rd Brake Light.
I understand that fitting those side Bars can be difficult.

When I fitted the Spyder sill bars it was very straightforward. Cut a 2inch diam hole in the rear wheel arch, wiggle in the bar, line up the bolts and attach to the chassis using the bolt in the footwell, tighten everything up. Fibreglass the wheel arch, paint and that's that. The cross member sits quietly on the floor under the pedals but doesn't interfere with anything.
Does the TT sill bar set up differ significantly from this?
