does anyone out there think that there must be some neater way of finishing that bottom edge.......
anyone seen an elan +2 with a finished chrome or similar edge .

they look like a good fix for the bottom edge

Unfortunately no - best to see if the original poster is still around. I have a vague recollection of him saying they'd used the original stainless steel side trim but just fixed it on lower.
